Refuge de Nice to Refuge des Merveilles
A short day. Again steep and rocky but more fun as we did not feel pressed to hurry on. The good weather continues.
The photo is an example of the rock fields we cross. I am becoming fond of this landscape and the challenge of walking through it.
The refuge today is strange place. Inefficient and poorly managed. Strange to stay in CAF (French Alpine Club) refuges on two consecutive nights and find them so different.
